Course Description:
Wounds are a common, complex, and expensive part of today’s health care system. Wounds can be the result of both medical and environmental factors and include venous and arterial leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and pressure ulcers.
There are many different physical agent modalities that are used to treat wounds and a growing body of evidence to support their use. Participants in this course will be introduced to many of these modalities and to the evidence to support their use in treating different types of wounds.
